A thermal transfer overprinter uses a heated printhead to transfer ink from a ribbon directly onto flexible film, labels or pouches, producing crisp, high-resolution codes.
Does it require ribbon, and which type?
Yes — TTO uses a ribbon. Wax, wax-resin or resin ribbons are chosen according to the substrate and required resistance.
Does it need compressed air?
No — this model operates without plant air, which simplifies installation.
How do I reduce ribbon waste?
Use the ribbon-saving modes and choose a machine with long ribbon capacity so the ribbon is advanced only as far as needed.
